Optimizer WRT is Optimatics’ real-time decision support software designed to minimize the economic cost and environmental impact associated with pumping water. Optimizer WRT provides network operators with a flexible system to help them efficiently operate their water network and ensure customer demands are met.
Optimizer WRT is configured to integrate with water utility SCADA and asset management systems. Long-term and short-term models are developed with Optimatics to assess security of supply, energy usage and carbon emissions. These models are coupled with Non-Linear Programming (NLP) optimization algorithms to provide fast, efficient and near-optimal decision making under a range of different demand, climate and asset outage scenarios.
Optimizer WRT is displayed through a customized user interface that fits with preferred workflow processes of the water utility operators and integrates smoothly with existing water utility information systems.
