Optimatics' software uses the SWMM computational engine during the optimization process to model wastewater networks.
SWMM
SWMM (Storm Water Management Model) is a dynamic rainfall-runoff modeling tool developed by the United States Environmental Protection Agency as public domain software. SWMM is capable of performing single event or continuous simulation of both quantity and quality of runoff.
Optimatics uses the computational engine of SWMM during the optimization process in its Optimizer WCS software to model wastewater networks.
