Senior Optimisation Engineer

As a Senior Optimisation Engineer in the Strategic Support Team, Alex supports the implementation of Optimisation Solutions for Wastewater Networks. He engages with utilities to provide training and support specific applications of Optimatics’ software. He facilitates development of innovative data-driven solutions to the issues facing the industry for the future. Alex earned his Master of Engineering in Civil and Coastal Engineering with First-Class Honours at the University of Plymouth alongside publishing research in the field of Sustainable Drainage and Pollution Control. He has worked as a consultant within the UK Water Sector since 2015, specialising in Integrated Urban Drainage Modelling and Digital Automation. He has a diverse range of international experience and is a proven leader in the development of tools and programmes within the Urban Drainage discipline.
