Software Developers
Our Software Developers play a key role in the design, installation, testing, and maintenance of software systems, creating programs that help our clients become more efficient and provide better, more competent services. Developers will be responsible for writing and coding individual programs or providing entirely new software resources. They work closely with IT Analysts, sometimes modifying existing software to meet industry standards and client needs.
A degree and a technical background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Programming & Development, or a related field

Accounting Specialists
Our Accounting Specialists manage all forms of financial accounts for Optimatics, keeping accurate records of both accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring that invoices are paid, and that clients pay invoices as required. Our Accounting Specialists prepare departmental reports, cost projections, and other clerical tasks.

Our Research & Development (R&D) Specialists research, plan, and implement new programs and protocols while also overseeing the development of new products. R&D Specialists are responsible for overseeing the entire development process of new products and programs within Optimatics, from the initial planning phase to implementation or production. They also record costs and determine which ideas are worth pursuing.

Our Product Support Managers oversee day-to-day operations by advising and guiding users through internally and externally developed applications. They are in charge of managing product support efforts on behalf of Optimatics, organizing support tasks, and delegating activities in their department. Optimatics is looking for a highly motivated water / wastewater engineer to join our Strategic Support Team. As part of the Strategic Support Team, you will support existing and new clients’ use of the Optimizer software to help optimize planning decisions within water infrastructure networks. Candidates should have strong backgrounds in hydraulic modeling and an ability to work closely with clients to help train and deliver successful hydraulic optimization analyses.
Understanding of and experience working with water utility networks, both collection and distribution
Collection system H&H modeling experience (e.g. EPASWMM, InfoWorks ICM, MIKE 1D)
- Distribution / transmission system modeling experience (e.g. EPANET, WaterGEMS, InfoWorks WS Pro)
- Proficient in GIS software (ESRI ArcGIS and/or QGIS)
Excellent communication skills
- Project management experience
- Ability to manage customer experience and relationships
- Strong presentation and teaching abilities
Business skills preparing and presenting business cases, communicating value to customers, and dealing with business process change
Master’s degree, or higher, in Civil/Environmental Engineering
