DAVID MCIVER

Chief Technology Officer

As CTO, David is part of Optimatics’ Executive Team. He provides strategic direction to ensure all product development activities address current market needs and align with future market needs. David actively monitors the latest technology developments at universities and “smart water” companies. He stays close to customers by contributing to proposals and providing oversight of strategic deployments of Optimatics’ technologies.

During his time at Optimatics, David has worked closely with water utilities in multiple continents. He understands many of the challenges faced by the global water industry and how different types of analytics can help address these challenges. David earned his Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours as well as a Bachelor of Science in Maths & Computer Science, both from the University of Adelaide.
