Optimizer™ 6
We have had significant updates since you last heard from us. Here are some highlights that you’ll experience in the latest release, Optimizer™ 6.2.2.
- Implemented Rule-Based Adjusters, a feature which has been eagerly awaited by many users
- US Customary units are supported in most places (coming soon: series charts and on-map displays)
- Versions 2024.3 and 2025.2 of AutoDesk Infoworks ICM are now supported
- “Multi-line” geometry objects are now supported
- “Land Use” objects are now supported in ICM
- Several improvements have been made in the flexibility of using panel layout. In particular, “restore to default,” “save,” “pinning” of data tables, “delete all
- plans,” and a new “freehand region selection” icon
- Significant performance improvements around connectivity API, which impacts all large P&P projects that rely on connectivity scripts
- Incremental improvements to meta-heuristic algorithms
- Various other improvements in performance and functionality
Optimizer™ 5
As a reminder, Optimatics strongly recommends using the most recent release of Optimizer™ for access to the best possible experience and latest features. Use of Optimizer™ versions older than 5.13 is discouraged. Here are some highlights that you’ll experience in the latest release, Optimizer™ 5.15.
- Version 2024.5 of AutoDesk Infoworks ICM is now supported
